Cell Phones and Privacy

Prepaid phones aren’t just used by criminals. These prepaid phones are sometimes used by teenagers don’t have enough money to buy a cell phone plan so they can add minutes as much as they need in a time. I think that would be a good and bad idea if the law banned these phones or made people register them. The good part would be if the person who had the phone needed to be found for legitimate cause, so if the phone was registered than that would make it easier to do. The bad part about banning these phones is because they aren’t just for criminals. These phones can be for parents controlling how much their child uses the phone, or someone who doesn’t wasn’t to spend a lot of money on a cell phone plan. That makes for this to be a two sided argument because it has plus side if someone was needed to be found, but a down side if the phones were to be outlawed.
