Location tracking

I think that implanting a computer chip into children isn’t such a bad idea. When you are younger there isn’t much privacy needed, so the main purpose for this would be if the child went missing. With that said parents should be able to have an option of chip implanting young children because there is not much of a risk for implanting them. As the child gets older there is more of an issue. Being a teenager, I feel that privacy becomes very important to the aspect of growing up. If a teenager can’t find privacy away from their parents, that can cause for the risk of rebellion away from the parents. I would support a bill in Congress to chip implant children under 5 because the reason for doing it would be for safety reasons.

  1. I agree with what Bailey is saying.I believe that tracking would be a helpful tool in children under the age of 5, but as a child grows older parents would use it for the wrong reasons. Young children dont know any better and are the targets of kidnapping. If a teenager were accused of something because their parent was watching the tracker then that has potential to cause youth rebellion like Bailey stated. Overall though I believe it has the workings to be a good idea that could help improve child safety
